Tips for the perfect cup

🌡️
Temperature matters
70°C is the sweet spot. Boiling water (100°C) can damage delicate aromatic compounds. Let your kettle cool for 2 minutes after boiling.
⚖️
Weigh your cacao
A kitchen scale changes everything. 20g is very different from 15g or 30g — especially in terms of how you feel. Find your dose and stick to it.
🌀
Blend, don't just stir
Cacao contains fat (cacao butter). Blending emulsifies the fat into the liquid, creating a genuinely smooth texture. Stirring alone won't achieve this.
🥛
Milk choice matters
Oat milk: naturally sweet, everyday. Coconut milk: rich and creamy, evening/ceremonial. Almond milk: light and neutral. Water: pure, intense.
🧂
A pinch of salt
A tiny pinch of sea salt (literally just a few grains) deepens the chocolate flavour and reduces perceived bitterness. Try it once and you won't stop.
Give it 20 minutes
Theobromine takes 20–30 minutes to reach full effect. Don't judge your cacao in the first 10 minutes. Sit with it, and let it work.
